I had oral sex with a new partner a few weeks ago and have had a sore throat the last while. I've noticed these lumps on the back of my tongue and at the side of my tongue. My throat is quite red and uncomfortable too. The guy has also recently had a sore throat. Any advice would be appreciated!

i have something similar but I been to several doctors and they said its normal even did a mouth swab came back normal , they told me the bumps on the back of my tongue were taste buds..

That’s what I was seeing online but I never noticed them before so definitely a bit concerned! It’s been sore a while and doesn’t seem to be going away. I’m over 30 and hadn’t gotten the vaccine in school but I got the first vaccine very recently. Probably won’t do me much good if I’ve been exposed already but still might be worth it.
