I gave oral sex to a man and he ejaculated in my mouth. Just a few days later i had a sore throat. now my sore throat has lasted over 2 weeks. i never had a fever and there was never any pain. it just feels like something in my throat. i have taken steroid meds and antibiotics and no improvement. could this be an std? i dont see any sores or bumps inside my mouth the only symptom is sore throat.

It can happen from an infection for example i had Covid and after that i had thrush. But the back of tour throat doesn’t really look normal. You should see a specialist.

it was oral thrush, not an actual std my doctor said it was from the oral sex and it can resolve on its own. doctor gave me medication that i had to gargle and swallow and it was gone after 4 weeks
