Hello, I have been to 6 urologist but no one could help me, so maybe here I will find an answer,
First I had Herpes Outbreak, with trichomoniasis, have cured it but it came back and after that, my penis is always a red.
I don't know what to do, and where to go, no one can really help me :(
Within this 6 month as a cream a I have used: Chloramphenicol; panthenol+hamamelis+centella; Tunazol; Clotrimazol; Acyclovir.
As a pill: Anaerobex; Oflab-oz; Azithromycin; Fluconazole Valacyclovir (Valtrex) Also: acidum ribonucleinicum duplicatum as a rectal
hey man! i have had the exact same problem for about 1.5 years now after getting a yeast infection. i believe its from the cortisone cream or from a rare bacteria that doctors arent picking up. i tested negative for all stds so im not sure what the problem could be. this really sucks. seems like theres 100s of people on here with the same problem but doctors dont think anything of it
my penis looks identical to yours tho, its been getting better and its not so bumpy when erect now. i havent been using any products on it now cuz im convinced all the perscriptions made it much worse then it was
same problem here on a penicillin tablet called amoxicillin 500mg stopped using any creams. using a small bit of sa smoothing cream see how that goes
Stop using creams, first of all. Are you circumcised? That might be a solution to think about. Does your penis peels off? Glans or foreskin?

I'm going through a really hard moment right now. My glans and foreskin became really thin because I found some bad doctors along the way. A layer of skin of my glans simply dies if I have an erection with it exposed (out of the foreskin) without moisture cream. An urologist prescribed me circumcision surgery, but I am really afraid of my glans not adapting and not getting its skin strong again.

Doctors are treating all cases of redness as fungal balanitis and prescribing mostly clotrimazole cream and fluconazole tablets. I am getting a sense that in many cases the issue might be something else like a bacterial UTI. Might be worth discussing this possibility with your Urologist.
has anyone cured this ? i had a fungal infection of my glans before and this isnt what it is , i dont know what it is i tried everything many docs urgent cares urologist
Well, your condition is not stable, right? some days your redness is much worse and some days the redness is less, right?
Your penis looks "okay" when it's about wetness. does it become wet if you don't wash it for some time and the redness increases? A smell which comes with wetness?
Im having the same and doctors in germany say it is due to an P.H imbalance. Due to wrong P.H levels your skin gets irritated. this is also the reason why anti inflammatory creams help but after you stop treatment the redness comes back immediately.
My doctors recommended circumcision but this is not something i want. I also believe there is an underlying condition which causes the P.H imbalance and my doctors said something like "immune system and inflammation" or something.
