my mother was in the hospital for 44 days 6 months ago with non convulsive seizures, and she started itching while she was in there. she was on Dilantin and kepra both at the same time so we made them take her off of the kepra to see if there was any improvement but there was not. she is at home now doing very well for 85 years of age but she really believes that her head itches and flakes are falling out all over her bed, carpet clothes etc... we have taken her to a dermatologist and tried many topical ointments to see if there is any relief to no avail, her neurologist is aware of this as is her dermatologist but no one can find out the answer. we don't know if its nerves? anxiety or what but it there is no flakes. any help?
