ive had a bump on my penis shaft for the last 10 days and i have no idea of what it is.im only 18 and not sexually active.is it normal or should i be concerned?it moves with skin

I had something like this when I was younger and it turned out to be a pimple. Give it a few days and see if it increases/decreases and whether a whitehead begins to form. Maybe give it a little pressure in a few days to see if it pops. If it doesn't, I'd go to the doctor right away. Take your penis health serious!

this photo is 3/4 days old and i do have a whitehead and when i squeeze it some pus type substance comes out of it.is it something you would describe as a pimple?

When you have pus this means there is an infection present: you need to use an antiseptic Best to use is liquid antiseptic that is for treating cuts, grazes and insect bites of the skin Check the instructions on how to use: apply 3 or 4 times daily The bump should reduce in size within 2 or 3 days As the bump reduces in size apply the liquid twice daily, but apply at least once daily until the wound is completely healed

should i bathe it with dettol? the website says the following : bathe the affected area daily with one tablespoonful of Dettol diluted in half a pint of warm water

As long as it is dettol that is for use on skin as I think there are different types of dettol - I have not used this for quite sometime, but I think it is quite strong.
You need to be really careful getting the measures right - think smaller amounts so that you can use it over a number of days if you require it - particularly if you only have a small bottle of dettol. So I would try a teaspoon in half a small cup of warm water - dip a finger end into the mixed solution and apply directly to the bump and the immediate area around it It is possible that what you actually have is a penile cyst that has also become infected and what this means is that you will remove the infection but it is possible that the bump remains. A cyst is usually harmless but can take some months to reduce in size. Most of the time what you will have is a relatively simply infection and this should reduce in size in 3 days of using the antiseptic regularly ....
