I’ve had an abscess for 10 months now - is this normal?

I had an abscess drained in october, its been closing and opening on and off since then with a few infections, now we believe the hole is closed, but ive got a big lump just above it, its quite hard and doesnt really hurt, is this normal? or if not, do i need a course of antibiotics or something? thanks
