Pouco mais de 6 semanas pós-operatório e me sentindo esgotado

So far my recovery has gone really well, not much pain, being able to get out and about a lot and generally feeling very well. The only problem is i haven't been sleeping very well for about 3 weeks.I started hrt on Tues but today i have felt exhausted.I did a bit of shopping and then went out with friends for lunch which is not an unusual day but for some reason when i got home today i felt drained.Within a couple of hrs i even had to go to bed for a while. It did help but is this quite normal for 6 weeks when i have been ok so far or is it because it is the first week of my hrt.

Hiya I felt like that too around that time post op and I started HRT which helped once I'd taken for 3-2 weeks but I sstill have days where I feel tired all normal xxx

Hi Teresa,

Sorry to hear your not too good at the moment, but im sure it is normal to feel like that. I went out the other day for a walk round town had a coffee and a bit of lunch and window shopping, only out 3 hours and when I got home I was shattered, ached from head to foot and was really tired did not feel any better until the following day. But today feel great and have decided to go back to work on the 1st June only for 3 hours a day to start with as my boss thinks any longer and I will be too tired and will overdo it.

So remember take it easy it has not been that long since the op and you are still healing.

Love Nikki xx

Hi Teresa

I m 7 weeks post op and finding i'm more tired now than i was for the last 6 weeks, i had to come home from visiting my moms today and fell to sleep this afternoon for an hour. I think its probably because i'm not getting a full night s sleep at all, i tend to sleep for about 2 houts then wake up and it takes over an hour to get back to slepp again. Hopefully my HRT i started yesterday will eventually rectify this and hope you feel better soon too x

Hi Nikki,

Great to hear from you.I have felt tired before now but yesterday was where i was sitting here yawning my head off non stop which is unusual and i felt drained.Woken up today still yawning.I have slept a bit better the last couple of nights aswell but i am still going to get my hrt changed.I normally don't get up most mornings until about 9-9.30 but on Weds i had to get up at 6.30 to be at my Mum's for 8.00 ready for transport for a hosputal appointnent. It was a big assessment where she is not well at all but i don't think the early start helped me.Next Weds we have to go back but i have to be over there for 7.30am. Can't believe you are going back to work before me are you sure you are ready fir it? Don't go over doing it and especially ruin all your weekends that you have got planned.

Take care for now

Sounds like I was at 6 weeks post op. If I had busy day, would suffer the next day. Have to pace yourself a bit! I didn't start hrt til 6 weeks post op and starting to feel back to my old self now. Will be 15 weeks post op on mon. At 6 weeks I felt like I was never going to get back to normal and so many things were still a struggle. Sounds like you are doing quite a bit and seems normal to still feel tired. It does take time to really get back to normal. Take it easy! Xx
