Ladycare Magnet

Hi jay

No, no one has mentioned the menopause to me, Oh except the last nurse that took my thyroid bloods asked me how i was and after i told her i felt awful she recommended Menopace vitamins, i am 51!!

My periods were as regular as clock work up until last Christmas then a 4 month gap then 3 months.

Because i haven't felt well since my Thyroid was diagnosed (about 5 years ago) they just seem to focus on that, I was even referred to a oncologist and when i mentioned my dizziness he recommended my GP refer me to ENT as may be it’s to do with my ears, I’ve never heard of so much rubbish in all my life!!

I have been taking the Menopace vits, I'm on VitD + cal from GP as my vit D was low, I have tried soya milk and made changes to my diet but I still feel the same.

Thats why I am trying the Magnet, I figure its worth a try.

Thanks for your help

Lou

Hi Lou

sounds like peri to me..

trouble is if they do a FSH ( hormone) blood test, that may show normal at the moment .. as your hormones are erractic in peri..

its not until your well into peri and only having 3-4 or less periods a year that menopause is shown in result..

I am 50 and i am menopause reached Lou..

i do suggest you get the B Vits i mentioned above..

they help with aches and anxiety etc..

plus we lack them in peri

i take 150mg B6 and B12 i have mine injected fortnightly for enery boost

jarrows B12 5000mcg is the best one for oral ...

if you Vit D is low, make sure you are taking enough supplement wise ..

They spent so long telling women of a certain age it was "Womens Trouble", whether it was or not, that they have now gone the other way

Hi Taz

😃

i know Lou is aged 51 and no Docs have thought about menopause ..

blimey i am 50 am now menopause reached ... wonder what Lou's doc would of thought of that .... crazy ... cant rely on the so called experts can you..

must see a Gyno for ladies probs as GPs havent got a clue..

says it all ... bloody useless...

As they say know a little about everthing/most things but nothing in depth about anything. My sister had an illness called sarcoidosis which is rareish in this country. Fortunately the locum Dr was american and as it is common there recognised it, prior to that she had been tested for TB and cancer, was about to be tested for MS by her own GP.

I used these for severe Menopausal problems.  Really found them a help.  I ended up with a Hysterectomy in the end for other reasons but I am certain that the pain I experienced at the time would have been far worse.  It definately helped calm things down for me.  I suppose a lot has to do with your mind set.  I tried to keep open minded about it and I had been told that it can take months for these to work so I kept wearing them and did notice an improvement in symptoms and moods after a few months.  Worked for me.

Hi Chrisy

Thanks for your reply

I am a positive and upbeat kind of person and I think that has helped otherwise I can see how some could find this all too much.

I'm going to persevere with the Magnet in the hope of some relief.

This spray Jay is by far the best thing I have bought so far for my peri! Because I use the day time spray after my shower in the morning it sets me off the rest of day ready to take on the world!! Just before bed time and because the night time one has the relaxing oils it really does help to switch off your very busy mind!! I am on my second bottles of both, they lasted about three months - my anxiety is certainly a lot more calmer and I generally feel like Mrs Chilled! Hope you soon feel better Hun! Massive hugs to you sweeties! Joy xxxrolleyes

Hi Joy ..

Hiya Jay,

Yes I have a day time one and you can also purchase one for the night time which has relaxing oils in it.  Spray on approx 30 mins before going to bed and you will feel your body completely shut off all from that busy day! Even if you wake in the night for a wee etc you can easily go back to sleep and continue with your restful nights sleep! Its really brill!! If you only want to purchase one then perhaps get the one for night time          (I have used this in the day when I needed a little extra help - dont panic you dont fall a sleep just relaxes you). Look on the holland &barrett site to see what they both do.  They have an offer on mo of buy one and next half price!! .  This a long with my menopol tablet I go to another planet He! He! and wake up feeling refreshed! Like you what i like about this I am not taking another tablet so much kinder to my poor old tum!!

Do you still have the lovely spanish sunshine?

Take Care Jay,

Hi Lou,

Good luck with the magnets.  It may be of interest to others if you update in a few months and let us know how you get on with them.

One point of interest when I was at a well known DIY store I was paying for some items and didn't notice that my magnets had stuck to the security gate that was lying against the counter in front of me.  As I walked away the gate came with me.  I was so embarrased but later I have had a few laughts about it.  Just be careful when you are standing by metal objects.  Good luck

Hi,

I'm peri menopausal, so have just started with symptoms. I had one week of very bad flushes, every 10 minutes lasting 5 minutes at a time 24hrs a day and was exhausted and dehydrated. In desperation I went onto the internet for advice. I have 2 chronic illnesses so HRT is not an option nor many other tablet forms due to the medication I'm on. I saw the Lady Care Magnet and decided to buy one, I had nothing to lose. I was mid-flush when I put it in and the flush stopped straight away. I have worn the magnet every day since without fail, about 3 months now, and I've never had another hot flush. Bought from BOOTS for £25, best £25 I've ever spent.

I appreciate you will get mixed reviews about the magnet but you can only really decide by buying and trying it for yourself. Best of luck

Hi Lou,

I hope you mean alleviate your symptoms and not elevate lol,

OMG lol,

See, another confused brain fog moment, thats my excuse any way!!!!

I just had a vision of you magneted to the ceiling smile
