Large anal skin tag removal - In extreme pain

Hi,

On Wed morning, I had lots of large anal skin tags removed that required stiches. it is now Sat (4 days later) and I am basically useless. This morning I had 6 bowel movements and spent the whole morning under a shower head or sitting in a sitz bath. I am lying in pain on my side, unable to do anything.

anyone else have large anal skin tags removed? how did you manage pain from BM? when did you get better?

I haven’t gone through any skin tag removals, but this week I had a Thrombosed Hemorrhoid Excised (no stitches though, just left open to heal), so I think I’m in the similar pain space as you. It’s still bleeding a little after 5 days, and still a bit painful. I manage the discomfort with 600mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours, and ensure I take Benefiber and a stool softener before bed time.
