Large lump on eyebrow after fall

I fell 10 days ago hitting my head. Straight away a huge lump formed on my eyebrow. The following day both eyes were black, and face swollen. I had slight sick feeling and dizziness if moving quickly. I felt perfectly fine otherwise. After 1 day this sick feeling and dizziness passed. Although the bruising is getting less every day, the huge lump on my eyebrow is not. The eye socket is not painful to touch, and I have no double vision, headache etc. Just the lump is painful to touch. Is this normal and how long should the lump take to go down? I don’t want to go to A & E because of COVID-19. I, sure nothing is broken, it’s the large lump that is concerning me.

If both eyes were black and your face swollen then this must have been a hefty bang and it was your forehead/eyebrow that took the blow.
So this will be the last place to lose the swelling.
Dont worry,it will go down eventually. As long as your sight is not affected and you dont feel dizzy any more you are probably fine. You could try putting ice packs on the lump.

The eyebrow will heal over time. The fact that its painful its a good sign it will get better with time. If it doesnt go down in 3 weeks, then see a doctor about options.
