Hi everyone,
I underwent a uninstrumented fusion on my left side back L5-S1 in July and in October on my right side. Immediately I after the surgery I was about 75% pain free:)
Now in the last two weeks I am in more pain than what I was in. I am struggling getting up from a sitting position and walking. Once I am up and walking for a minimum of 15 minutes then the pain level from a 8 goes down to a six.
I made an appointment to see my back surgeon but when I arrived I found out I was seeing my surgeons PA.
I was disappointed and I was told that I was recovering and would like to see me in March, and if I continue with the pain then she will order some imaging. She did not hear a word I was saying.
THE PAIN IS WORST THAN WHAT I WAS EXPERIENCING BEFORE I HAD THE SURGERies AND UNBEARABLE
Yes I am taking vicodin and Lyrica for pain and nerve pain. I ONLY TAKE VICODIN 2x aday and LYRICA. I REFUSE TO TAKE VICODIN EVERY 6 hours and my doctor knows.
please any advice?
THANK YOU
ANA
