Levothyroxine and halitosis?

Has anyone experienced chronic bad breath from using levothyroxine either brand name or generic?

Hi Claudia, I thought for sure you must be joking... but... If you do a search for “levothyroxin halitosis “, you’ll find the FDA has acknowledged that halitosis is a side effect of levothyroxin, particularly with certain demographic groups.

Claudia,  you’re welcome. Thank you for posting. It seems the side effects of this medication are never ending. They truly range from halitosis to liver cancer.
