Has anyone had experiences with Linzess?
I took my first dose today and I ended up in the Dr from an allergic reaction! I could barely breath, had no bowel movement, and had cheat pain!
The problem with taking prescription drugs or medication there are numerous side effects. If you are not taking natural remedies to heal the problem rather than taking something to mask the problem. You will always have issues.

I have no idea what colon hydrotherapy or colonics is. I was diagnosed this last Wednesday and told to start taking linzess. I'm looking for any advice I can be given because this is a new journey for me.
I am having a severe allergic reaction. Doctors don't know what is causing my symptoms. I am suspecting Linzess may be the cause. Whelps, hives and itching and bloating on entire throat face and inside elbows. I have been taking, Linzess about 2 years . Have also gained weight and nothing I do will get the weight off, and bloating but believed Linzess a miracle drug because it does work on the IBS constipation. Doctor sending a strong cortisone from Mayo Clinic. Hope it works. For about a year now the hives and rash would come and go but not leaving this time. I never put together the weight gain and Linzess! But it does coincide with the start of taking Linzess. Going to stop taking it and hope the symptom stop. Has anyone else had allergic reaction with this drug?
Wow Alecia ive been wondering where is this chest tightness and shortness of breath coming from. and loss if appetite. Also, went to the dr. today and ive lost 4 pds in 2 weeks . I had already lost due to perimenipause, gerd, and gastritis but i had managed to keep it at a steady weight, still too low but steady. I decided to check out reviews for thus med and what.do.you know, lo and behold ! all the symptons im experiencing on here. Then i stumble up in your post. How long did this shortness of breath last for you? i ve been having it on and off and wondering what was causing it. No more if this med for me! How long did your side effect last?
I have been taking Linzess for 3 months. At first it didn’t do anything, but soon it did and my digestion is so much better.
