My 17 year old daughter has red, sore & itchy lips on a regular basis. It is an ongoing cycle - redness, dryness, flaking, oozing, splitting & then some improvement and then back to square one. She’s been referred to a dermatologist for possible patch testing but the wait is a year! She does not wear lipstick but does wear make-up. We’ve tried from her GP - anti -fungal cream, anti- biotics & steroid cream. She is keeping to vaseline & recommended lip balms but we would appreciate anyone’s experience & ways to relieve the symptoms. We’re getting desperate!
