I’ve been diagnosed epileptic for many years now - with some periods more seizure / absence heavy than others.
Yesterday I experienced what I can only assume was my longest ‘aura’ in recollection.
An aura this intense would generally result in a grand mal seizure for me - on the floor and usually having bitten my tongue.
This felt like it went on for ages - that feeling of de ja vu / strangeness - but I don’t think I actually ended up having a grand mal seizure.
I have no real idea how long it went on or what I looked like throughout but I must have been sat upright at my desk. I had to log-off work and spend the rest of the day to recover. Same pounding headache and nausea I would get from a grand mal.
Anyone else had something similar?
