Hi, I'm still looking for an EASY reference guide to Vitamin K levels in food, per ounce or gramme, suitable for UK people. To help me take care of dad, the best i can. Can't getmy head around 'cup' measures, sorry!
Has anyone come across one?
Thanks!
Go on pinterest they have these infogrsphic charts.
Is this because your Dad's on warfarin? I really don't think you need to worry too much about Vit K content of food. Just make sure he eats a healthy varied diet and don't put him on the vegeatble soup diet or start giving him platefuls of green veg and he'll be fine. I used to be a Specialist Nurse in a warfarin service for 4 years BTW.
hi misswoosie
I see you were a specialist nurse
I have been trying to find
the food interaction of vitamin K
and green leafy vegetables while
taking Plavix or Clopidogrel 75mg tablet a day
as there is no indication on the
manufacturer leaflet but some websites mention to avoid vegetables and fruit high in salicylates .
Do you have any advice the doctors dont seem to know.
