I have been taking 1mg of Lorazepam they were always white. My new prescription are blue coated tablets is there any difference between the white/blue tablets.. just wondering?

I was going to say it's probably just the manufacturers that are different
There is often a difference in appearance when there is a change in manufacture. The drug should work in the same way.

Je suis infirmière et beaucoup de gens fabriquent des médicaments.
Tout dépend de ce que votre pharmacien/pharmacie a en stock.
Ne vous inquiétez pas si votre médicament a une apparence différente. Si vous êtes inquiet, vérifiez avec votre pharmacien.
J'ai eu beaucoup de médicaments qui sont bleus un mois et blancs le mois suivant !
Tant que c'est le même médicament, fabriqué par une entreprise différente, vous n'avez pas à vous inquiéter.
