Does anyone know if Lorezapam increases appetite?

...this drug is a depressent...I don't think it would "increase" your appetite.
I have been on this drug for over 10 years...and have not gained an ounce and do not feel like it ever makes me hungry. Its for anxiety...and it works.
ps...thou....depression causes loss of appetite...and if you already have it and you are taking Lorazepam...it could make your depression a little worse.
They usually prescribe an antidepressent with this medication and for me...If I take both...I usually feel LESS depressed..not "fixed" but better.
Thanks for the response , yes I am taking both but I do notice if I don't take the ativan I can't eat once I take it I can eat anything. I am having a health scare and I've been sick for about 3 months to say I even have night sweats and loss of appetite my mind keeps saying I have cancer and Dr,s hvnt found it, I feel I'm going crazy...
