Loss of taste and smell on sertraline

Hi

Anyone lost their taste and smell taking sertraline?

Does it all come back after a while?

hello julie, perhaps not exactly the same as you but while starting on sertraline, i noticed i didnt like the smell of any food, or taste, and felt sick/nauseous, no appetite

i think that lasted about 5 days, and then went away fully

I have no, if not little appetite since being on Sertraline. It's only my sixth of taking them, but once the food is in front of me I'll eat it.

Also feeling numb zombie like in my head

I can't stand it

Totally get this, really sucks this feeling. I've had this for years, but have only talked to the doctors to see what he could do and now I'm hoping after taking these pills that I will feel more grounded.

i been on them for a year now nut recently gone to 150 mg and my taste and sense of smell seems to have gone. I think at 100 was the same but not as bad. so im also wonderinf the same thing?

and is it a cause to try somethung else?
