Well eventually found the lost blood tests, the doctors receptionist has found then on the eye specialist web site she said but could not give me any results.
So tried to see the doctor, no she ssaid you will have to ring the eye specialist for the results yourself, ohhhhhhhhhhhhh
Bugger that goinmg to see my doctor, and ask her for them surely she can give them to me.
Have started teducing to 8.5 now, its a real job trying to cut up 1mg tablet i think yesterday i took 8.75mg instead of 8.5, anybody any ideas how i can cut them even please.

Margaret I get a little sharp knife and put little blade down the grove of tablet and press sharply down and most of the time they cut in half ...it is a pain though xx good luck with this dreadful PMR XX

Hello Gymjen, good idea never thought of using 5mg in half, the 1mg tablet does not have a groove and its is difficult hold the blighter.
I only have 5mg and 1 mg as the 2.5mg tablet does not go with the uncoated.

Buy a Pill Cutter from Boots, about £1.
Mags, I always used a pill cutter, purchased from Boots, and it really wasn't much of a problem. In fact, if the 1mg fails to cut in perfect halves, then it really doesn't matter too much because if you have the unequal halves on two days running you will be getting the whole dose over that two days, if that makes sense. Hope that helps for when you reach the point where do will have to cut the pills.

I have been mixing the coated 2.5 with the uncoated for 3 years. No problem and useful when you need to cut by .5!
Using the dead slow and nearly stop method, going from 9 to 8mg averages out to 8.5 then 8.25 and so on. I haven't cut up any pills as yet but consider that I am currently on 8.25 mg. should be 8mg over the next few days! So chuffed!
