Lump below navel

Hi I've recently noticed what feels like a very hard lump, half an inch below my navel (i.e. lower, centre abdomen area). I can only feel this if I press very deeply (not difficult as I am a very slim person). Of course this is scaring me and I will see my GP but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before? I'm worried it's a lymph node, but someone also said I could be feeling my lubar spine through my abdomen as I am very thin. The location would make sense, altough it seems crazy to me.

Can anyone relate?

It could be an umbilical hernia

It feels too hard to be a hernia...

You need an ultrasound to confirm,

if it was your spine or not and why no intestine slings were over it. From anatomy, ok, the lumbar vertebrae jump forward, even spine operations are done via the abdomen for that reason,

but there should still be some intestine in front of it and belly muscles.

What makes me cringe is, that big blood vessles are in front of the spine, so please don't press too much (or are they on the side?)

Ultrasound please!
