i'm back because I realize when I start feeling bad my face also looks like I have a rash with tiny little postule like bumps on both sides of my nose and at the same time my nose is redder. It's not roscae because it only happens every couple of months and then I start feeling better and having trouble with joint pain. I also have large red welt marks on the tops of my arms - it looks like sunburn. This sound familiar to anyone? Are they fibro symptoms?

I have had FM for 30 years & not experienced red spots or rash you describe. I would urge you to go to urgent care as it could be a sign of allergy to meds or foods. Are you taking any meds? See a dermatologist.
For facial rash and red nose. Joint pain is always helpful to take a bath in magnesium or Epsom salts. And take a Tylenol until you see a doctor.

I don't know if it's to do with fybromyalgia, but I do get the redness like a little rash over my nose, sometimes my cheeks too. It goes away after I cool down so never really mentioned it to doctor, so it could be. There's so many different symptoms to this disease, I wouldn't be surprised if this was one.
That sounds more like lupus.have you been tested for lupus?.. it's a blood test. if not go see your GP and explain about the rash, take a photo of it if you can and show the GP..

I also get this little red spot bumps over my nose and cheeks ( like a rash) which appear Over night will have all day and sometimes the next day suddenly disappear and they only appear when I start too feel rubbish. No idea what this is and Rheumatologist who diagnosed me with fibro last month said go see a dermatologist ! Which I found unhelpful. I am having another opinion from another rheumey because some other issues I have in regards to the diagnoises but I do get this symptom.

i get a really annoying rash on my chin which started as little bumps and now have sort of gone a bit like psoriasis. I wondered whether it was related to Fibro. Another charming symptom that looks like I've got a beard rash. Can't think why I'm single!
itts impossible to get everything treated I find for whatever our health problems are you get eight minutes and you are only allowed one problem at a time. I'd be in the doctors everyday with every problem.
I hope you get an answer,they don't seem to have a clue what they are doing at the doctors or anything about fibromyalgia.

That's the same as me, and it only comes if I've overdone things that day, so good chance is another symptom
I don't know if it is a symptom of fibro? But with this condition it seems like anything goes! And any symptom you have they put it down to it.
I know, I'd be at docs every day if I was to ask about all the unusual little symptoms, we need more information about fabriomyialgia and what to expect, my doctor couldn't tell me any prognosis, 👍

Hi Trish - my face definitely gets red in the heat and when exercising, etc but these little bumps come out of no where. I've never had acne or any skin problems and it's embarrasing when it happens. I'm going to try to get to doctor when it happens. Take care!
I was tested once and it was inconclusive. I've thought I've had Lupus for a while, but I think I have fibro too. It really doesn't matter what they call it, it stinks for all of us
I was sent to a dermatologist about 7 years ago, they were trying to figure out the welts on my arms which they never did. I thought the welts might be connected to my raynaulds. It seems like if they cannot figure something out they call it fibro
Thank you! It usually clears up in about 3 weeks. It used to happen about 4 times a year, but it's happening more frequently now

Can certainly relate to this. I saw dermatologist and she said definitely rosacea and prescribed a cream and it works! Mine only happens occasionally (usually just before I need to look reasonably normal for some occasion). Strangely mine only happens down the right hand side of my face. Don't you just love fibro - the condition that just keeps on giving.
Lol, that's the attitude maggers, I always said it would take more than an hour to write all the symptoms of my fibromyalgia because I believe everyone has different stages of symptoms, some more severe than others. I find a new symptom at least once a month. No cure yippee, aren't we all lucky 😉

my life may not be perfect
but I am blessed.
By blessed I consider it that we have access to each other on here for sharing the good and the not so good. Can you imagine how many trees would need to die to complete the list of symptoms! Don't think the list would ever be complete because someone would come up with something else to add. This is why the medics just wash their hands of us and leave us to sort it out for ourselves.
I'm upbeat today because the sun is shining and I have a day off work - going for a gentle stroll with the dogs.
