My results came back negative, but my doc wants to test again because she is almost sure that its herpes . She prescribed me with valacyclovir . I have been taking them for 3 days now and I have 2 days worth of pills left . I am still feeling pain and discomfort when I pee . What could I do to make it better . Do you all think my symptoms will get better in 2 days ? If not what do I need to do ?

yes i would take the meds until symptoms clear. I hope you are ok. i have just overcame my first ever outbreak and i know the pain.
I only have 3 pills left and my pain is still very severe . Do you think I will need more ?

Yes i would get prescribed another course if i were you. i had 2 courses when i had mine as mine was so stubborn my body was like woah what is going on and took a while to fight it. I was very unlucky mine lasted 4 -5 weeks! However i wasnt on the correct meds straight away as they thought it was just a cyst but when i started to take the correct meds it slowly cleared. Its a long and painful process but i promise it gets better. When you get prescribed the meds also ask for a numbing gel like instillagel (local anaesthetic) and apply this everytime you need to pass urine. I was also have 2-3 epsom salt baths a day to help with the pain.
yea unfortunately that’s healing like herpes. how long after possibly exposure did you get tested?
Had sex on 12/7 was sore after and i thought it was due to roughness , as the days passed it just started to get worse & I seen a doctor on 12/12 & my results came back negative z
