Hi guys , I have been taking mertazapine 15 mg for 5 weeks now for mild sleep issues after being covid positive then I wanted to start tapering went down to 7.5mg for a week now then I will take it every other day then every 2 days then stop
I want to know when will withdrawal symptoms begin and how long will they continue especially insomnia as I can’t function with poor sleep any tips to battle it?

Hi Paul thanks for your reply, how long did insomnia last and how long have you been on mirtazapine?
To be truthful I dont have insomnia at the moment because I take quetiapine for sleep at night. I plan to get off it as soon as the mirtazapine withdrawals stop. I did used to struggle to sleep without it though, and my sister got me onto the tea once when i slept at hers but forgot my meds. She used it every night. I stopped mirtazapine 8 weeks ago after 1 year on 30mg. Hope it gets better for you soon
