I'm taking this medication and just wondered if anyone has had a perm while taking I've booked for perm tomorrow & occurred to me today whether it's a good idea.
If you have not had trouble with thinning hair or drying hair, go for it. I was not so lucky and my would have been too thin or brittle to have do that. Good luck to you.
I agree with Bababoyd and if you don't have hair problems then do it. I have thinning hair with Methotrexate and dare not risk chemicals to have my hair colored or tinted.!
Thank you my hair doesn't seem any thinner only loosing my usual amount of hair have phoned helpline hopefully they will ring before I go.
I have my hair dyed regularly and 2 colours at the same time so I understand your dilemma. Although I don't have an answer for you I still get it done but less regularly and not right to the roots. My hairdresser is also a friend of mine so I explained it... I think he was more terrified than me! I would say though if you are experiencing hair loss done put it under any more unnecessary pressure 😊 for the first 2 months of MTX Ai didn't get it dyed at all. Good luck
