Migraine Nausea

Yesterday I had a migraine. I was nauseous but didn't throw up. This has happened before and I've never thrown up. Does this mean I probably won't throw up with migraines in the future? PS, my mom gets migraines with nausea but she doesn't throw up.

I have suffered with migraines for over 40 years and have only been physically sick on a couple of occasions. I only sometimes feel nauseous and sometimes I have an aura but most of the time it is just pain which I can usually control. Have you had migraines before?

Hello I had Migraines all my life and with nausea too, but now that I had my new sickness which is Hemiplegic Migraines with Aura I vomitted for days and days, and ended up in the hospital with half my body paralize for some time...

Stress is a big factor for me😷🤕🤢

Migraine changes over time. I use ginger as soon as I start to feel it. I have ginger capsules, gingerale, and ginger chews. It is a natural remedy without the side effects of meds. Do try to identify your triggers - food, stress, hormones, etc. Migraine is also hereditary but that does not mean you have no control over it. Best to you.

Ginger capsules..never thought of this great idea. I am at a stage now where I have to take meds to help the side effects of the meds so I don't like taking extra medications if I can help it. Going to get some

I am never sick...but oh boy I feel sick. Since getting migraines I get extreme motion sickness well I suppose sensitivity as I am never actually sick....maybe we just have tough tummy's. Sometimes though I feel so bad I think throwing up might help x
