Been to the hospital 3 times this week. Was diagnosed with UTI and then told I had a yeast infection (they're easy to get with diabetes). The antibiotics weren't helping and everything was getting way worse. I couldn't sit, walk, or sleep without being in agony. Peeing has been so excruciating I've been screaming into a towel, getting nauseated and felt like passing out. I went to a different hospital and they were gonna do a cervic exam (kind of like a Pap smear) but then decided to just swab a sore down there for a culture. The dr told me it was genital herpes and it was very common. I've only been with my boyfriend of eight months and he has never had signs or symptoms of herpes. I'm on day 4 of acyclovir and peeing still hurts but it's not unbearable anymore. I've also been wearing pads because of all the yellowish discharge. Today, I was standing up and thought I had felt more discharge so I went to the bathroom and it was bloody. Is this normal??????????????
Volvería a tu ob y explicaría por qué estás sangrando, podría ser una o dos razones. 1. Podría ser que tengas cáncer de cuello uterino, que está asociado con el herpes, o que tus ampollas estén empeorando y sangrando.
El sangrado no es normal con el herpes, por lo que si no es tu período, te recomendaría que lo revises. Mucho flujo amarillo tampoco es típico. Si hay algún flujo con herpes, suele ser acuoso. Podría ser vaginosis bacteriana, que puede estar asociada con el herpes. Por cierto, el herpes no está asociado con el cáncer cervical (eso sería el VPH), y nuevamente, el sangrado no es típico con las lesiones de herpes. Quizás sea porque tienes diabetes, no lo sé, pero definitivamente te recomendaría que veas a un médico al respecto. ¡Mucha suerte!
