Muscle twitching

I've been experiencing muscle twitching all over body for about 2 days now. I seem to feel it more when I'm at a resting stage. Is this a normal anxiety symptom? Has anyone else experienced this? I also feel it under my food arch when trying to go to sleep. Please help!! I'm so scared. 😣

What's it feel like?

Yes muscle twitching is very common with anxiety. Mine started in my 20s and it was all over my body. I was scared at that time but had all the testing done and found out it's harmless.  It's nothing to be afraid of. I still occasionally get a twitch here or there  when  I get anxious and I am in my 50s  and still alive! LOL    I just ignore them know and they go away.  If you become really anxious about them they will continue because anxiety brings them on.

The twitching is just a reaction to your anxiety. The main thing isn't the symptoms of anxiety but it's the fact that most people don't know how to manage the anxiety so they get symptoms.

keep in mind that any symptoms related to anxiety cannot hurt you even though they feel scary and weird. If you learn how to get your anxiety under control the  twitching would settle down. Many athletes get muscle twitching because of how they use their muscles. It's very common.

all anxiety starts in the brain so you need to relax your brain in order for symptoms to subside. The main thing is stay active stay busy, do things that relax you like go for walks in nature, listen to relaxing music, whatever it is.

I like to listen to meditations on YouTube for anxiety. They completely relax my mind and body and my symptoms if I have any, subside or go away. There's many to choose from and I think they could help you. I like to use earbuds for a better effect.

 Will be just fine! 😁❤️❤️❤️

I have this symptom all the time. Definitely part of anxiety. The more I relax the more intense it becomes sometimes

Thank you so much for you input! Really gives me a piece of mind. I will try to do as you say!

Thanks for the input Chris! It sure is a nightmare to have!
