To all the parents out there that have gone through what I am going through today, please give me a word of advice.

I have a 4 year old little girl who has the little bumps all over her.

They started on her stomach, which I thought was an ant bite. Then a few days later noticed them on her inner theigh. So, I took her to our doctor which told me that they were growing bumps and would go away. As I had listened to what he had said weeks went by and noticed that they weren't going away they were getting worse. Reaching out for a second opinion I was told that my daughter had herpes. After treating her for 3 months and nothing was better. I took her to a children's emergency room where they told me what she had and sent me to a dermatalogist. Now that we have been and she now had 120 bumps between her legs and bottom they had us do the acid treatment because there are so many. He was right the acid doesn't hurt her but the blister are so painfull. Has anyone been through this and does this method work...

I truly feel for you!!! We have 4 children, and this virus passed through each one of them. Are you talking about beetle juice? The blistering agent? We have not tried that, but have spoken with a friend whose son had these and that was the only thing that worked for him. He has a heart condition and a compromised immune system.

What worked for my kids are as follows:

12 year old son, his immune system kicked in and knocked them out.

11 year old son, aldara cream, retin A, TONS of prayers, apple cider vinegar, immune system kicked in and killed the rest.

7 year old son, he only had a few. Apple cider vinegar killed all of his. He is my healthiest child of all 4, no allergies, no sickness, and hardly any molluscum! His are gone now.

3 year old daughter. She has eczema (as well as my 12 year old son too). We kept her covered during the winter months with tights, shirts that snapped under the legs (to prevent from scratching/spreading)~ we tried aldara, retin A but they did NOT work with her. Tried apple cider vinegar, burned her delicate skin! what has worked for her is freezing them at the Dr office! They gave us a numbing cream to put on them 90 minutes before the appt, and with TONS OF PRAYERS, this is taking care of them! She has about 9 SMALL ones left to freeze at the next appt. So far, three appts of freezing. First appt there were close to 40. Next appt about 10, next appt about 15 to 20. This time just a few.

All my kids are on vitamins, immune boosters, flaxseed oil, etc... and just started probiotics. ALSO, diluted bleach baths!! This works wonders for eczema skin, but also kills bacteria on the skin. To a full tub of water, we put 1 cup of bleach. Has done wonders for their skiN!!!

I hope this helps! We said a prayer for your little girl today. We know how you feel! Some days I just cried and cried.

How long has it taken your children's immune systems to respond to these awful bumps?

My daughter who also has excema has some on her chest up under her arm. The Dr diagnosed them earlier this week. She has two larger ones and now I am noticing some TEENY TINY little dots forming around the area. Do they grow or just appear? I feel like the larger two she has just appeared. I never saw them coming.

I have been keeping her from baths with her twin sister since we discovered the bumps, started vitamins and want to give them probiotics. They are 18 months. Can you give them probiotics at that age? I just want to boost her immune system like you mentioned.

Also....i have NO idea how to bathe her? I gave her a bottom bath today just bathing her bottom and lower body and kept her long sleeved tshirt on while in bath. I dont know what else to do? Someone said give them showers? Is that a better idea?

I feel so alone in this situation.....expecially since they last so long. I feel like I am going to be isolated all summer from friends and family.

I have found a little relief from reading these posts,and absolutely feel what you are going through.

My 5 yr old son has had this for approx 12 months now and it is suddenly becoming a lot worse.Last month his leg became infected and he was in a lot of pain and needed a strong dose of penecillin to clear the infection.

Our nurse told me at the time to pick the top off the others after a soak in the bath,I did this on one and felt awful as it hurt my little boy although it did disappear after a couple of weeks.

However,he has had a really bad attack again and they almost appear before my eyes.I will be back at the doctors in the morning as he has yet another painful infection on his foot this time which is affecting his mobility.I feel desperately sorry for my little boy,this is really effecting his life just now.

Any advice regarding similar infections would be greatly appreciated.

I live in France and my 5 yo was recently diagnosed with this condition, which I had never heard of or seen before.

He has eczema which the doc says makes him more vunerable to picking up and spreading it on his own skin.

So her treatment advice is.

No swimming until he is cured.

Showers in fast running water, no baths.

Treat the eczema to keep the skin in good condition.

By using a non soapy bodywash called A-derma

Use Dexeryl cream (mixture of glycerol, vaseline and paraffin liquid) am and pm for 4 days and then on alternate days for 3 more days

She also presribed homeopathic meds ? to boost his immune system

Thuya occidentalis One dose every sunday for 3 months

Natrum I does every wednesday for 3 months

Dulcamara 5 grains daily for 3 months.

I have eczema too and I think I have caught it also, up the back of my neck! It is very unsightly on my little boy and I hope he overcomes it soon.
