My Blackpool Big One

Hi all here we are on the very last leg of the voyage, Pun intended, Thursday 23rd for my left, to be replaced, I hope it goes to plan, as my right one went so very very well, and I feel fine, just nine weeks ago, soon I will get my life back after 4 years of worsening pain and I almost got to where I could not walk before I had the first operation, now , faciong the second I can get about, and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Here are some of my fav shots of the BigOne here in blackpool quite a rollercoaster ride as some of you have had with the drama of the Hip replacement Operation, mine has been easy sailing so hope the next one is as easy as the last one, more shots to follow if you all like these, please comment so I am keen to post more of my work and give you some nice shots to brighten your lonely time here on the patient forum.

Ian.

Hi Ian,

What at great shots...I've been to Blackpool just once, didn't have the guts to do the big one. My husband did. I am originally from the UK, I'd love to take my Aussie kids to this one day.

I sincerely wish you all the very best for your surgery and your recovery.

Hullo Ian

Your situation puts mine in perspective. Good luck with your next surgery. Isn't modern technology amazing?

Hi Ian

I used to live in Fleetwood and once a month as a kid used to walk all the way from Fleetwood to Blackpool to go to the pleasure beach and gfo on the rides. Then got the tram back home intime for evening meal.

Those are great shots. I am looking forward to more.
