I have been on orlistat for a couple of weeks now, still don't feel different which is really upsetting My clothes don't feel looser and i haven't lost any weight, i know how to eat a low fat diet as i am on weightwatchers so its no problem there.
My doc prescribed me a months supply but didnt actually tell me much about the tablets...
One thing that i am trying to get my head around and i hope someone can help clear this one up for me (please!!)
Even if you don't eat 30g of fat per day, is the pill still working even if you don't have any side effects? Will the pill still take 30% of the fat out of what you're eating....i'm so confused!!!
Yes the tabs work and remove 30%of any fat you eat but I have found they work better if you eat approx 10 - 15gms of fat when you take a pill. Remember to try to stick to no more than 5g of saturated fat though
I know exactly what you mean. My GP didn't say anything either, I too have only just begun and am on WW I am confused because I have 3 tabs to take a day, but sometimes I need a snack to make sure that I have all my ww points so this might just be a low fat cake bar, but is it ok not to take a tab at that time? Any advice gratefully received.
