Dor no pescoço por ansiedade?!?

For the past 2 weeks I’ve had pressure on the left side of my neck. My lymph nodes don’t feel swollen and I had I check up done a month ago and my blood tests came back fine for my lymphatic system. Even after all this I’m still scared it’s lymphoma. I’m not sure if I strained my neck with all the tension I’ve had the last 2 months. I’m terrified. I also read somewhere that anxiety can make your lymph nodes feel swollen. Can anyone else relate?

I can absolutely relate to this. Anxiety and stress seem to focus themselves in the head, shoulders and neck area.   I had neck pain so bad I couldn't turn my head.

The muscles on each side of my neck were so tight and it went down into my shoulders and cervical area on my neck. These are the areas that people tense up with stress   And overtime it's going to get tight and painful.   I had to go to physical therapy because it was so bad.

it's not the lymph nodes that are swollen it's the neck muscles. You must believe the results of your test because if you had blood work done that would definitely show if something else was going on. If you did, your white blood cell count would be skyhigh but it was normal.

You do not have lymphoma.

Sometimes when we have poor posture whether it's sitting looking at cell phones or iPads etc. that can definitely cause pressure and tightness on the neck. We don't even realize how we are sitting or how our necks are turned etc.

everything we look at should be Eye level.

Your neck should not be downward or upward position for a long time.

there are some simple stretches people can do for tightness in the neck. They really help a lot and you can even ask your doctors office  for a recommendation.

if you do suffer from anxiety, that alone can cause all kinds of symptoms so I would recommend getting your anxiety under control either speaking with a counselor or doing meditations for anxiety on YouTube, doing things in life that relax you ,  staying active and social and doing things for other people always makes you feel better. You're going to be just fine. Try to stop thinking worst-case scenario  because there is a 99.999% chance your neck tension is due to anxiety. 🌸🌸🌸❤️

Thank you for that. I just freakout because its only on one side of my neck. And not the other. And its constant pressure no matter how I move my neck. My shoulder area is very tight as well.

I also think I am not helping the situation by constantly prodding and poking and squeezing the left side of my neck

Boa sorte. smile
