Bonjour, j'ai récemment été diagnostiqué avec la maladie de Crohn. Que prennent les gens pour éliminer les douleurs abdominales sévères ? Et que fait-on pour la constipation ? Merci
I use a wheat bag hot thing or a water bottle and dissolvable paracetamol.
i know a few on here use cocodamol, but I find them too 'trippy'.
i can't advise on the constipation though.
Hope you are doing ok and wish you well
Drink fibre and take laxative or juice. Eat papaya will help in constipation. What kind of medicine do you take?
I use paracetamol and tramadol. If I am constipated which is rare senacot tablets are gentle.
I agree but may I ask what medicine do you take for I have pentasa which i think causing me constipated
I have had pentasa for five years and it did not give me constipation. I am never really constipated but I get uncomfortable if I haven't been at least once during the day so one senacot sorts it.
thanks sheila, that will relieve my worry. Do you have any side effect I just started a week ago one tablet 1mg this morning starts 2 then I feel indigestion and nearly vomit.
I could not tolerate the large Pentasa tablets because they wouldn't go down so I had sachets of tiny little pills which were no bother.
Dear rebecca15655
To stay regular, I take some Bicarbonate of soda with water (careful with the diution, otherwise ii is a irritant, not good), either before or after meals. If you learn to dilute it correctly it should keep you regular, and help with the bloating, and is usually safe with most meds.
As for the pain, as I pointed out in my first intro to this subject, it is not I (inspite of this, don't discount the Bicarb with water) have Crohn's, it it my dear friend Katina Tina Stinson whom you can contact on face book, Modesto Fl, she has an amazing head for facts (meds), and will gladly give you some more suggestions as to pain.
Now, the Bicarb, you can try about less than a half teaspoon of it with a about 4 oz water or a bit over that to stay regular, always give it a good brisk mix, and always taste the first sip for concentration to avoid the irritation of intestines and weakness, for if weak though it yet will help with regularity, you will need more portions, and it, when weak will not help with the bloating. You will experiment with it and get good at it. Should you contact Katina, tell her Miguel referred you, it will break the ice.
thanks sheila, I will ask my specialist for it. I dont know whether he knows there is little one satchet. I am in Australia
I forgot to say something about water. Drink lots of water, this also helps to insure that constipation will not be a problem and helps fight agains certain skin conditions. Have a glass or a bottle of water nearby.
I use charcoal for bloating and mylanta sometimes.
