Thank you. That wil keep Forum members reading for months.

The problem seems to be a national shortage of neurologists. When I was referred to one about five years ago I was told the he was the only one at the hopital and It was a several month wait for my initial appointment.

When referred again this year the hospital web site said eight weeks for an initial appointment and thelve weeks for treatment, Several E-Mails to his secretary had answers that he triaged referrals to pick the most urgent cases but that waiting times were extending. Eventually I was seen after six months by a Locum. He has ordered a barrage of tests and will not see me again for about four months when all the test results should be back..

I cannot believe that anyone with genuine concerns would instead bellyache on minor inconvienenses. Keep up the great work. As far as I am concered this forum is a God send.
