I was on citalopram 20mg for 11 years, Stopped April 2015, Have serious neurological symptons since March 2014: Both feet numb, right leg numb, balance poor, severe nausea,severe headache. Mentally, very well. My G.p thinks my neurological condition may be due to the side-effects of Citalopram.Has anyone a similar experiene of this drug? I am on no other medication,Thank you,

Have your GP check on periphial neuropathy which is a normal part of aging and causes numbness in extremities. The other symptoms might be short term because of the length of your use. Good luck

Hi!

    Yes. The dose was reduced slowly.But I remain very ill neurologiically.Very  well mentally. Thanks. Elizabeth.
