hello peeps, my next crazy question for you...... now that it was confirmed bronchiectasis I have it perhaps explains some of the strange side effects that come with it, I have days where I'm really tired, especially if I worked the day before, nodding off in the chair is common now, but I have noticed quite often after a few minutes I suddenly startle myself awake feeling that I had forgotten to breathe! anybody experience that? or am I just plain one of a kind weird.

Hi David..Yes I get very tired...I think it is because I don't sleep well at night..No it is not weird I sometimes feel like I have stopped breathing..it is the musus that stops up my Bronical Tubes....once I cough a few times I am Ok...sometimes this disease really sucks...I try to take it a day at a time....it is our life we have no choice....
Hi David. I also have days when I just feel exhausted. Totally wiped out. Not all days, it seems random to me.
As to the waking, I have woken up suddenly gasping a few times. Not a lot, but it happens. It feels very quick and you wake right up almost sitting up.
