The test is called FM/a and is offered by EpicGenetics .The drug is BCG and has been used by 4 billion people over the last 100 years to treat TB and more recently as one of the tools to fight bladder cancer among others .The USA FDA has to ok the trial and the vaccine can be given .I took the test and scored an 82 out of 100 and the higher you score the worst you are . Insurance covers the test in the US .
Do you have a website?
Try FM/a and BCG and FM . In addition Faustman lab and Epic Genetics
Thanks for posting this Gerry, i have read the brochure but theres not loads of info.
Do you know anymore??
I had the BCG vaccine in my teens as did most people in the UK at least around my age as it was issued in school, if it stops or treats fibro why are people still being diagnosed with it who have had the vaccine previsouly.
Anyone else on here that had the BCG vaccine?
Hi Charlotte like you I had the BCG vaccine in my teens at school. Diagnosed about a year and a half ago with fibromyalgia. I'd be interested to find out what would happen if vaccine is issued again if possible what the effects would be for us sufferers. There's not enough research or tests for fibromyalgia and that is what frustrates me. Doctors have plied me with meds and I'm sure I have become dependent on my meds that when I don't take them I get the shakes, intense pain, sweats and I feel like I am going to die without it, but when I told the gp that she wasn't phased. So if anyone researchers want volunteers for trials I'll do it, I'm getting desperate!
