No appetite after gallbladder surgery

my husband had his gallbladder removed on 1/6. He did not have an appetite prior to the surgery and still doesn’t have one. He’s lost 30 lbs and I am very concerned. Has anyone else lost their appetite and how long did it take for it to come back?

I had mine removed on Dec 11th. I lost 11 lbs in a 2 week span. I couldn’t drink or eat anything…just didn’t feel hungry. I’d force myself to eat something small but my appetite still isn’t 100%.

I had my gallbladder removed 10.02.2021 13 days gone and still cant eat much nor do i have much of an apetite. Thinking back to when i first came home i didn’t eat at all so i have made some progress. Lost a total of 20lbs in 3 weeks.

hi, im sorry to hear that. i hope your husband is feeling better. How is feeling now? I am kind of experiencing the same thing. i got surgery on january 6th and sometimes my appetite comes and goes. I hope everything goes well through time.
