No bile acids, still Cholestasis?

Hi,

My wife is pregnant – week 28+5 and recently diagnosed with cholestasis after complaining about itchiness on palms and feet.

Doctors ran two tests before diagnose:

1. Liver function test – Increase in liver enzymes discovered.

2. EBV – negative

She got prescription to take 200gr Ursolit x3 per day - she's been talking them for the past 6 days.

At the same time, the doctors ran additional blood test for Bile Acid test.

Today we got the results – bile acids normal (!)

How come she was diagnosed with Cholestasis?

She has the symptoms of the palms and feet itchiness.

If no bile acids appear, does it mean she has no Cholestasis?

Regards,

Ran

It isn't anything to worry about

Does she have any pain or discomfort in the upper right quadrant ?

Itchiness in the palms is a sign that you'll get money or money will go. Itchiness on the feet could be due to cold weather, atheletes foot, etc, etc but they prob did blood tests anyway to find other abnormal results elsewhere.

Trex you seem to be funny believing in myths that have

no medical background.Indeed it is rife illusions transmitted between people throughout the world.

Its not myth, I have experinced itchy hands myself and when my right itched a few days later i get money

and when my left and itched a few days later i lost some money therefore, what other people said and what you think is a myth i found very true. Not everything has to have medical evidence, take for example ACV.

As for feet - it only itches when its very cold
