A little complicated situation that I hope someone can help me with.
-Partner has had a yeast infection.
-I started itching at night after sex on penis shaft (no rash, nothing). Went away after a day or so.
-Started feeling numb/burning around penis head (2 out of 10 scale), did not know why or exactly where. Went on for several days, thought maybe I got a yeast infection from partner (no real symptoms except some itching and numbness).
-Used miconazole from OTC Monistat kit.
-Believe I might of aggravated the situation, burns now (4 out of 10), believe due to the swelling of bottom of penis head (pic 1).
-Purple dots on either side of penis head, however I noticed the 2 darkest spots probably 8 months ago (pic 2, did not hurt or anything), thought it had to do with my angiokeratoma (which I have on my scrotom). The smaller spots (pic 3) on the other side are not really noticeable unless you look closer and make the skin taught (not sure how long I might of had or new). Any advice would be appreciated.
(No foreskin, line on shaft is scarring from later in life circumcision)
How long did you use the Monistat kit? And what strength is the kit, what is the number on the kit?
Did you do unprotected anal or receive oral? as you may have a combination of yeast and bacterial infections
How may you have aggravated the situation?
For the combination of circumstances and symptoms you have it may be best to see a Urologist or at least someone like PCP / GP
