I've been seeing someone for about a month now and we only have had protected sex. Last week I shaved a little and had sex, there was a lot of friction etc etc 

A few days later my groin area was a bit itchy. I chalked this up to the shaving... as it kinda makes things itchy when it regrows. 

About 3 days ago I noticed 3 bumps near the base. They were itchy, but didn't hurt. But this concerned me. Today one of the larger ones popped and there was quite a large hair inside... the others I can't tell. 

So yeah, concerning... and brings issues into my relationship. I'll get them swabbed and tested to be sure.

It sort of looks like ingrown hairs to me... however, the fact that they’re sort of in a line can sometimes indicate herpes. 

Personally, mine started as one bump, then I got another above and below it, forming a line... 

Best for you to get it swabbed though to be sure, but like I said, sort of looks like ingrown hairs!
