My doctor diagnosed PR about a week ago. It is still spreading somewhat but I am managing it. I have noticed that I am suddenly extremely itchy on my scalp where I've never had any sort of skin issues before. It is very itchy around the hairline and ears and also further in on my scalp. So many sites say that PR is limited to the trunk of the body so I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what I can expect.
My daughter had the same thing happen when she had PR, honestly her scalp and forehead were the worst areas. The dermatologist said it was seborreah and could not
be PR but it was. It disappeared at the same time as the rest of her spots and has never recurred. My DD was 17 and had an atypical case, spots didn't follow the normal patterns or areas. She used head and shoulders in the blue bottle but it was so bad I do t know if it helped. Her forhead peeled and huge flakes were coming off of her, like mega dandruff. Hopefully yours won't get that bad, but don't let them scare you, it CAN be PR and it will go away. DD's lasted 4 months, they told us it was just eczema the first two, and seborreah... Some time in the sun seemed to help her. I hope yours clears up quickly!
Thanks. I hope it does too. In the heat of the summer, when getting overheating seems to make it worse, it is quickly becoming very annoying. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information about PR out there other than the standard "don't know what causes it, no treatment for it, lasts about 6 - 8 weeks." This forum certainly gives a lot more advice than actual PR websites.
Thanks for the info. It seemed as though it wouldn't be too bad of an outbreak, but the past few days has seen it spread like wildfire. I have a couple of spots on my forehead, many around my ears and some on my neck and under my chin. I did have two herald patches at the initial onset. Cannot find any info about potentially two herald patches being a prelude to a more severe outbreak. Or if scratching causes the rash to spread. Very little info about this condition. Your are correct about doctors and not caring much. One day at a time I guess. I did get a few small "blistery" looking things by my mouth, almost like cold sores but not. I am all too familiar with those and can say that's not what it is. Hoping it is not PR spreading to my face. Thanks again.

Es kann sich definitiv auf die Kopfhaut ausbreiten. 😊 Vor 3 Wochen wurde ich diagnostiziert, und es war eine Höllenfahrt. Ich begann mit dem, was ich für eine hässliche Erkältung/Virus hielt. Dann bemerkte ich einen kleinen Fleck (guter alter Herald-Fleck) an meinem Torso. Langsam bemerkte ich ein paar mehr. Was mich wirklich beunruhigte, war ein schuppiger Fleck in der Ecke meines Auges. Das war der Beginn des Schreckens. Bald war meine gesamte Brust mit diesem schrecklichen, intensiv juckenden Ausschlag bedeckt! Mir wurde ein topisches Steroid und Benadryl verschrieben. Das hat nicht geholfen. Mein Gesicht ist so trocken und schuppig, und mein Hals und die Seiten meines Gesichts haben ebenfalls Flecken. Erst vor einer Woche bemerkte ich einen Bereich mit starkem Juckreiz und Schuppenbildung auf meiner Kopfhaut, wie ich es noch nie in meinem Leben gesehen habe! Es befindet sich direkt an der Stirnlinie und wird immer schwieriger zu verbergen. Ich habe versucht, Maximum Strength Head and Shoulders, Nizoral und sogar Kokosöl sowie andere ätherische Öle zu verwenden. Nichts scheint zu funktionieren. Heute bemerkte ich einige kahle Stellen, wo sich meine Kopfhaut abgeschält hat. Ich kann das nicht mehr lange ertragen. Hat noch jemand anderes Haarausfall erlebt? Wächst das Haar nach? Ich hoffe, das klärt sich bald. Meine Gebete gelten allen meinen Mit-P.R.-Betroffenen in diesem Forum!
Ich habe es noch nicht versucht. Ich werde es sofort bestellen! Hilft es nur bei den Symptomen oder hilft es auch, es zu beseitigen? (Egal, ich brauche es) Vielen Dank für Ihre Empfehlung. 
What about Head and shoulders shampoo? I know a lot of people are recommending head and shoulders for the body cause it wil dry the rash/virus out.
Antischuppen-Shampoo trocknet es aus, macht es aber nicht weg
Why did u grow this problem? Did u hv any viral disease b4 that?

Davon weiß ich nichts, sie sagen, es könnte mit dem Herpes-Virus in Verbindung stehen, aber ich hatte noch nie so etwas wie eine Lippenbläschen. Natürlich hatte ich viele Erkältungen, also könnten sie herausfinden, dass es mit einem dieser Viren zusammenhängt. Die Ärzte sagen, es sei nicht ansteckend.... Mein Mann und meine Kinder haben es nie bekommen, aber man muss es irgendwie bekommen....
Wish I could show u my sores... they r so heartbreaking!! It began in Feb 2017...and they still come back...I showed dermatologist, gone through phototherapy, antibiotics..but none works... Lately they gave a ointment named Topiclo, which works, but I'm putting it online on the visible parts, since It's tiresomely to find each and every sore... I'min so disappointed...will I hv to carry them for the rest of my life? Can I show u my sores?
I had dengue in Nov 2016, ever sincerely then on growing PR, and they never stop!!
Hey so did you put that PrrEze cream on morning and night ? And did you shower just once a day or twice ? And are you suppose to let it sit up there or rub it in all the way ?
Did u try h&s? What’s the routine of using it?
I was going to use head and shoulders tonight and see how it looks in the morning. But idk if you are suppose to use it 5days in a row 3days in a row or everyday once a day. Im going to try 3days in a row once a day and if it seems like it’s clearing up a little bit I’ll keep using it

Der Grund, warum ich nach der Biopsie frage, ist, dass einer meiner größten Ärgernisse ist, dass Dermatologen und Ärzte im Allgemeinen keine Biopsien durchführen, sie entscheiden einfach, dass sie wissen, was mit Ihnen nicht stimmt... Sie sagen normalerweise Dinge wie: „Oh, verwenden Sie dieses Rezept, und wenn es nicht innerhalb weniger Monate gelöst wird, kommen Sie zurück...“ Dieses Rezept ist normalerweise für eine Cortison-Steroid-Creme, die nichts bewirkt. Sie sagen ein paar Monate, weil die meisten Ausschläge dann verschwunden sind. Ihr Thema ist eine dieser Steroidcremes. Lesen Sie die Nebenwirkungen, sie können übel sein!!!

Mit einer Biopsie - nur eine einfache Schabenbiopsie, keine Kernbiopsie - können sie Ihnen genau sagen, was Sie haben, und Sie VERDIENEN es zu wissen, was nicht stimmt.
Ich frage mich auch, wie ich es bekommen habe. Ich war gestresst und anscheinend ist das der Grund, aber ich verstehe immer noch nicht, wie ich es bekommen habe, wenn es nicht ansteckend ist 
. Einfacher Stress verursacht keine Ausschläge wie diese. Wenn mein Immunsystem durch Stress geschwächt war, habe ich dieses Virus gefangen und es ist in der Luft, sodass jeder es bekommen kann. Für mich bedeutet das, dass es ansteckend ist, wenn eine andere Person mit geschwächter Immunität in der Nähe des Virus ist. Einige Artikel sagen, dass es in Clustern auftritt (Schulen, Kasernen, Familien). Einige Dermatologen bekommen es auch nach Kontakt mit Menschen mit PR. Ich bin in meiner dritten Woche (ungefähr) seit dem Herald Patch und GOTTSEIDANK hat niemand in meiner Familie es.
