went to er with irregular heart beat 75 bpm and high blood pressure.. My normal resting heart rate is between 50 and 55 bpm. I took one pill last night and today experience very slow heartrate and spaciness and nausea, i didnt have before. Is it possible for it to act that fast? I am terrified of taking another one..
Bisoprolol will lower your heart rate whithin 2 hours as I was told by my cardiologist. However I hade palpitations for a while, but it's gone now. What every you do don't stop taking Bisoprolol without talking to the doctor. If you stop cold turkey you will probably end up in the ER with heart attract. My hearth rate was 48 so I spoke to my cardiologist and he reduced to 1.25 mg
Anyway I am no longer taking Bisoprolol since August. I weaned off nice and slowly over one month. But I remembered at the beginning I hade the same symptoms as you did. I was on it for 14 months due to my open hear surgery.
Hi, I'm surprised you were put on Bisoprolol, when I was put on it I was in hospital 3 days with a 'resting' heartrate of 190, my usual was 55ish, I would query it with your GP.

That's good, Bisoprolol is quite strong with rotten side effects, if you don't need to be on it then not a good idea, I'm hoping to get off it myself in the New Year.
