Osteoarthritis and Bakers Cyst

I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis back in 1997 which appears to be under control with SC Methotrexate and Hydroxychloraquine, according to recent inflammatory blood tests.
However, over the past two years my knees are wearing out, which is manageable at the moment, but just recently there is a sharp pain in the back of my knee, which seems to completely lock my leg from straitening.I have a right groin pain radiating around to my buttock and down my right leg. My gp diagnosed osteoarthritis but suspects a bakers cyst. What is this and how is it treated?

I have osteoarthritis and ostopenenia had one hip replacement waiting for the second one but had fistulas that had to be removed as they were to near my hip had op 7th December left the wound open only a small wound left but seams to be taking forever to heal doesn’t help that i have type 2 diabetes which makes it slow in healing feeling the hip is getting worse just wish the wound would heal so i could gwt my hip done.

I was offered the biological meds about 4 years ago after a flare, but I decided to go with the methotrexate injections. I cope okay with that for RA, but osteoarthritis doesnt respond to RA drugs. Which is a bummer x
