Both Oxypro (oxycodone) and pregabalin act as central nervous system depressants. When taken together, their effects ‘stack’ or add up. Oxycodone is an opioid painkiller that slows down the brain’s control of breathing, and pregabalin enhances this effect, making it much more dangerous than taking either medicine alone.
