im 9 weeks (today) post op laparoscopic AP repair with pelvic floor repair too. I have 5 scars on my stomach, one of which opened up post op so that is about 2 inches long. I've been having pain with that scar for a while as it sits on my 'trouser line' but I've now got stomach pain in the area of another scar that's different, more like a stabbing pain in my stomach that just an annoying discomfort. Anyone else had this?
It's normal to get some pain where the scar is and it can be uncomfortable for some time. Pain under the scar is expected because nerves and tendons are cut when the incision is made however if you're concerned see your GP.
Hi can you try a cream. My doctor recently recommended to me to use Hirudoid Cream as Im bruising really easily these days. On the tube it says that its really good for scars and I looked on the internet at reviews about the cream and people were saying how good it was. Just a suggestion xxx Kath
