I have periods where I get a pain across my upper back which can best be described as like indigestion. When it comes on I get it everyday and the pain can be okay or really unpleasant. I got it for a few months a while back and now it has come back. It can come on without an obvious cause such as eating. I suffer with GERD but have for many years and never suffered this before about a year ago. I’ve been to the doctors but they just looked at me gone out when I mentioned “back indigestion” and just put me on another reflux medication which didn’t help at all. Does anybody else suffer from this?
Get get heart and lungs scanned checked , my hubby has had gerd on omeprazole for many years and has just developed some lung issues which could be caused by acid reflux mist entering lungs over time he has some fibrosis. Which is serios
Dont let them dismmiss your pain. Also women often get that pain during heart attacks ,
If its pain its pain that needs addressing further

See someome who treats gerd like a gastoenterologist or ent you just might save yourself frm future lung or heart damage
