Hi, I started getting this bump less than a week ago but it didn't hurt. However, starting a few days ago, it's grown and now it's causing quite a lot of discomfort as it constantly hurts, more so when my thighs come in contact with it or I touch it. I don't shave but I'm assuming it's a boil(?). Can anyone tell me what this is and what I should do about it? I was considering taking Advil to ease the pain/inflammation. Thanks in advance!!
Looks as inflammation. You can wait a few days if it shrinks. If it gets worse (bigger, more pain etc.) or you have a fever, go to see a doctor!

did you use a dirty razor when shaving?
Yes, it looks like a large boil. It will probably come to a head and then disperse. Advil is perfectly fine to take. If it gets very big with no sign of coming to a head then do see your doctor. You may need antibiotics.
Tender bumps go with the right treatment, i think vaginal cream will do the trick.
