I've just started taking this drug for high blood pressure but I'm also taking something called Atenalol for heart palpitations (awaiting results of tests) but from taking the BP drug on day one, my heart palpitations went from being barely noticable, to very noticable. I'm puzzled as my doctor said both drugs work best in combination with each other. Does anyone have experience of this pls?
thanks

I've just come across your posting.I was put on Bendro about a year ago and then Atenalol for palpatations like yourself.Usually awake in the middle of the night with real high racing of the heart, pretty scary.what tests are you waiting for? i now get a pulsating in one ear.not sure if its related.
I've been told, after 3 years on atonalol and bendro that the combination can cause symptoms of heart failure, was told by one doc that was what I had
palpitations, difficulty breathing, specially after climbing stairs, got so's I was breathless when sitting up in the morning, watch yourselves :?
hi,I would realy like to know if bendro and atenanol DO cause heart failer because my husband has been on both for years because of angina.please someone let me know.
