Hello, I'm 33 years old and have suffered from panic attacks on and off for years. I recently started 25 mg zoloft. I lost my insurance soon after, so I was never able to follow up with my doctor. I went through 2 weeks of torture. Panic attacks got worse, tired, jittery, pretty much all the side effects. I pushed through and feel better on that portion, but no help on panic attacks. I feel like my life is based around not having an attack. I want to come off medication, but not sure if I should or not. Any advise on other options? I know all about getting through an attack, I want them gone!
Hey! Sorry to hear about your situation, it sounds really tough. I think you should have a proper chat to your doctor, it may be beneficial to come of your meds, but dont do so without consulting your doc first. In the mean time, try to find ways to calm down and relax a little, mindfulness goes a long long way. Here's a post I just made about methods that I use to cope;

I really hope some of these help, they really help me get through. Best wishes.
